Pancakes and a Te Ara!

Every Sat morning Dad makes pancakes and eggs-- extra on the grains.

I just need to do a little journaling here. We have had a fun Summer so far! June has been a month of rain and beautiful weather!!
We stained the Swing Set and Elle added her art work
We have been to that dang PG pool quite a bit! The kids love it especially Elle.
Strawberries and Cream!!
Strawberry Days is always fun here in PG. The kids walked the children parade and got tickets to the carnival. Rob took Elle and Drew to the carnival and they had there fun on the rides. The concert in the park with free strawberries and cream is my fav. Kate was so fun to watch dance and Elle was the social butterfly with all her friends. Then the parade on Sat morning was so fun this year! Perfect weather a little rain, beats the heat of years past. The kids came home with 2 huge buckets of candy and coupons too!
The kids have been sleeping in all different parts of the house. The guest bedroom, each others rooms and even out on the tramp. Isaac came in after 20 min but Elle and Drew braved the night and had a blast. We told them its funner if Mom's and Dad's sleep inside that way they could tell secrets. ;)

Running has been the name of the game for me this summer. I signed up for a Half Marathon! I have been loving being outside and pushing myself just to see if I can do it. I took Rob on one of my runs and after 8 miles he was fine!!!!! He hasn't ran all year! Well, even if I have to work twice as hard as anyone I am going to do it! Provo Trail Run 1/2, Aug 8th. Come do it with me!

Library Day once a week has been the highlight of the summer, it is so good to see the kids excited to read! They go do a craft at the library once a week and get all excited about their goal of reading everyday for a half hour. Each time I pick them up they have a new coupon for and free ice cream or something, they love it.

Nana and Papa were here (Papa got a job in Salt Lake!!) and we have been out in Vernon visiting. Kate is in heaven out there, Nana came with us to Bridal Veil Falls last week and this week James and Katie are coming to town for a week too!

We also went with Nana and Papa to Grandma Olson's family reunion at the park. This is Marianne and her kids Aunt Sharon's daughter from Bountiful.

In all it has been a fun month!
