All he ever talks about is Speed Racer cars! They're finally here!!
Elle and her microscope! The budding scientist!
The hit of the day! Laser Tag!! 5 of our friends got the same set too! So we are going to have a playoff this week! The kids loved it!!
We had a fun day! The kids woke up at 6:45 am and waited, per instructions, to not wake us up til at least 7. Then, as tradition Rob made them all wait in bed with me while he lit the fire and got everything ready downstairs. The kids all came running down and it all begun. Santa left a note for them as usual in the canister on the tree and this year it said to open all the fun gifts from Mom and Dad and then go look in Dad's office. Inside the office was all the gifts they asked for from Santa. It was magical to see their faces. Then we had Ham and Egg sandwiches from Dad and played and played and played laser tag, moon sand, magnetics, transformers and games.

Then Grandma Trish and Grandpa Cliff came over to visit. We spent the afternoon laughing at Jib Jab Elf yourself on the computer!! http://sendables.jibjab.com/ Check it out it's funny!!
Afterwords we played in the snow and had a snowball fight and built 3 snowmen. Then I fell asleep on the couch while the kids watched Kung Fu Panda.
My brother Michael and his family had a blizzard up in West Jordan! It even knocked out the power for 4 hours! Down here it just snowed enough to make everything pretty and white again.
Great Day!
Remember how I wanted to do something more this season. We did the usual doorbell ditch -which gets better every year the kids get older and want to help. Laughing and hiding and waiting in the snow is so fun. Fun for the kids to see someone else happy from their giving. We also found this place in Provo like the Food Bank, called the Community Action and Food Bank. http://www.communityactionprovo.org/index.php

We took the kids there and learned about all the can food donations and about what help people need. They had us play a game and make a house out of a few scraps, we talked about that and then we went in and helped sort can food. It was really neat. I had no idea about how that sort of operation really worked it was neat. The Utah Food Bank only feeds Salt Lake and Tooele County not down here in Utah county. So they really need donations. Anyone can go and do the tour/service night. It's only about an hour and half long. They are starting it again in Jan -I think the 17th. Here is the number to call 373-8200 ask for Krysta ext 247 or email her
