Memorial Day and Last week of School

Summer's here NO MORE SCHOOL!!!! Yeah!!!
For Memorial Day it was raining and we just had so much energy and excitement for the last week of school to finally be here, so we went over to the gym with some friends of ours and played and played!!! It was so fun! We played indoor soccer, basketball and baseball and the kids even put on a play! It was the best. Then we went to Grandma Sophie's grave and remembered her. The kids remember her jelly beans and m&m's-- mostly Elle, since she past away when Drew was just 3 months old. After spending some time there in the rain went over to our friends house the Peterson's and had a BBQ with them.



Tuesday we had the Dance Festival!! It's so fun to see how excited the kids get when they're outside with everyone and the music is booming! Although Elle doesn't look like it here! Drew's dance for him was optional and he opted out lol! Next year buddy, you get to join the dancing crazy kids- kind of weird they do the same dance for that grade every year! Elle loves it of course.

Wednesday morning was the "FUN RUN"!! The kids run around the track with all their grade, it's very competitive and Drew wasn't scared one bit for his first time! He did awesome, like 15th out of the Kindergartners and Elle, she was stretching and getting all pumped up and she got 5th!!! She ran her little heart out! So fun!

Thursday good ole Drew graduated from kindergarten! Wow next year all day! We got to hear him sing and show off his new knowledge but mostly just look so cute and grown up! I don't remember "graduating" from kindergarten! Who knew. Also on Thursday we had Elle's gymnastics competition! She did awesome! 2nd in bars, 2nd beam, and 3rd place on floor! Thursday night the kids had movie night with the neighbors and were up til 11!

Friday they had school for an hour and a half ? Then the boys loaded up for the Father's and Son's camp out! Drew was counting down the days for a month!! Isaac just loves it all and sleeping in the tent is his favorite. Elle and I went out with Kate for some girl fun. We went and got our nails painted and while we were there saw some pink hair extensions and we just had to get one of those too! (just Elle) -For fun! We were remembering it was a year ago that we cut all of Elle's hair off at the same salon. It took a long time to grow back so we haven't done that again! Elle did donate it to locks of love that was neat for her. After getting all cute we took meatballs and rice to Grandma Trish. Grandma and Grandpa decided to get a huge TV for their living room and 2 old folks recliners (they are really nice leather ones at least). While they were moving around furniture Grandma fell off the ottoman that she was standing on and broke her ankle!!! So I had to at least bring her dinner at least one night.

Then this morning SAT we woke up to no power, lights all out, Rob raced home and dropped the boys off and then he went out to Vernon to do some cleanup and play paintball. The kids and I hurried over to Elle's game at 9 AM! (Elle and I stayed up til 12 looking at blogs! ) Then Drew played at 10. Both had treats too. Needless to say we are one worn out bunch!! I have allergies so bad and had pink eye last week too. Plus Drew came home and his eyes are all crusty today!! Oh boy! Elle came home and was off to the PG pool for the day! What a busy week! Live it up right! Wwheeeeeewwww
